Activated your e/stop button?
We get a few calls from people who have a BMS controls panel and they have a safety circuit indicator showing on the control panel.
99% of the time this will be
- You have had a fire alarm test.
- You or someone else has pushed the emergency stop button.
Emergency Stop
Your plant room will have several emergency stop buttons located around the area. These are to use in the event of an emergency. If any of these are pressed in a genuine emergency or by accident / test then the safety circuit light will remain illuminated.
Resolution: Establish it is not a genuine emergency. Find the emergency stop button that has been pressed. Twist the head in order to reset the test or mistake. The control panel will re initiate the control circuits and resume automatic operation.
